Ajinkya Galande is a tabla player and percussionist based in Pune, trained in the Guru–Shishya tradition under Padmashree Pt. Suresh Talwalkar ji, with guidance from Pt. Ramdas Palsule ji and Shri Satyajit Talwalkar ji.

Coming from a family of music enthusiasts, he grew up immersed in Indian classical music. He began learning tabla at the age of 13 and continues to shape his artistry through disciplined riyaz and meaningful accompaniment. Working closely with vocalists and instrumentalists, he has developed a refined musical sensibility, attentive listening, and strong stage awareness.

Experience & Accolades

A dedicated performer and accompanist, Ajinkya Galande has built a strong presence in Indian classical music through solo performance, collaboration, and rigorous training.

His achievements include Third Prize in Tabla Solo at the prestigious Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Pratiyogita in Jalandhar, Punjab, in 2017, and Second Prize in Tabla Solo at the Virtual Music Competition organized by Pt. Kanthe Maharaj Smruti Samaroh Samitee, Aurangabad, in 2021.

Over the years, he has had the privilege of accompanying distinguished artists including Padma Vibhushan Vidushi Dr. N. Rajam ji, Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar ji, Vidushi Aarti Ankalikar-Tikekar ji, Shri Ashwin Srinivasan ji, and Vidushi Manjusha Patil ji.
